I specialize in representing people who are seeking a home for repose and renewal.  A dream home need not be a financial excess. It’s easy to be thoughtful about a home when you know that major decisions must be made before construction or occupancy, but the rest of the task is at your discretion.

In choosing a new home, your major decisions start with choosing an area, then a town, then a community. After that, as far as I am concerned, my job is to help you make a final decision in the best interests of you and your family and friends.

The same rules apply to the matches of home to people.  If the chemistry between you and your chosen site is right, then I can help you make the chemistry between human and house more satisfactory.  The logic of feng-shui (fung-shway) informs and moderates my decisions when I perceive a benefit for my client.  Many of Hong Kong’s skyscrapers are designed and positioned using the feng-shui methods.  I am a black-hat feng-shui practitioner.

My background includes work in the following industries:  Consumer Lending and Real Estate Appraisal at a major bank, Real Estate Sales, certification as a Real Estate Residential Investment Specialist, Mortgage Broker.

I have acted as owner-builder on two of my own homes.  I have carefully observed hundreds of homes being built.  I understand local building codes and can explain the “what” and the “why” to you in normal English.

Green, nondestructive building practices are my specialty, even though my grounding is in construction techniques from the 1950s to now.  I will help you build to your desires. Even if you wish to build with cob, strawbale, or cordwood, I will provide my considerable support to your project.
